Here's my Kat Eyz capo (purchased from a fellow UMGF'er) at work and at rest on my 1987 HD-28BSE...the 2.3" inside measurement covers even my wider-necked 12-fret dreads all the way up the neck, although the 1.2" depth between the bar and the cushion makes the fit on some of them a little snug. Jul 15, 2022 · Katz Eye Capo question. I play a D-28 without a strap button on the heel (like lots of people). I use one of those half inch wide leather straps with a button on it on the headstock just beyond the nut (again, like lots or people). I use a pretty standard leather strap with the thinner, adjustable end attached to the nut strap.

As someone mentioned it is so sleek and shiny. It stores above the nut nicely and the saddle just cradles the modified V neck on my 0018V. I’m very happy with it.

I was having some small issues with my capo on my D18 not snugging up quite right. He looked it over, took some measurements on the guitar and capo, then ended up taking it with him and is sending me a better fitting one when he gets home.
